+ THE BASICS +

Write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.


+ STEP ONE +

- Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

- Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


+ STEP TWO +

Surf this forum here and browse the lists. Here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

- You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

- There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.




+ NOW LETS SEE YOUR WISHES +

1. Hmmm...well, [Eve had this one and I thought it was really nice and I'd love it] I wish someone would write a song for me. A really special one about me that I could always listen to and smile. Even a nice poem would be sweet.

2. I wish for chocolate. My one true love. X3

3. I'd love my own digital camera and a nice scrapbook. I know it's kinda soppy and stupid, but I'd love to take loads of photos of my friends and family, of all the fun times I've had. Then I'd put them in one big Scrapbook so I could remember all my childhood friends I'm worried I'll forget in years to come

4. I wish I could dye my hair a cool colour! I don't think my teachers would be pleased with neon pink and spiky, lol

5. I wish someone could draw me in really cool, anime form. Or make me a character in their story, so I'd always be remembered [kinda stealin' more from Eve AGAIN, dammit!! ]

6. I wish I had a Premium membership!

7. I wish someone would make me laugh so hard that I cry. [Aah! more of Eve's!]

8. I wish I had more inspiration for a new story! Haven't posted anything in ages...

9. I wish everyone on DeviantART a merry Christmas and a kick-ass-awesome New Year

10. I wish for snow. Nothing Is more fun than waking up to snow on the morning of Christmas

Well, this just goes to show how strange I really am. This is one a dream I had two nights ago...

Harry walks into the Room of Requirement to find Snape [complete with pigtails] Malfoy [sporting a sparkly plastic tiara] Fred and George [with black cat ears stuck on hair bands] Hermione and finally Luna [both extremely boring standing with the rest.] Everyone was laughing and looked reeeeaaally high, apart from Harry who was being a serious old git at the door, standing unnoticed. Then the weirdest thing happened. Every Time We Touch by Cascada came on, although no one seemed to be holding an iPod or anything. And Snape, Malfoy, Fred and George started to mime to it and were making up actions. Then at the really bouncy bit in the middle, they started a really odd looking kinda rave. Hermione and Luna joined in, and soon Harry coughed and Luna ran over to him, giggling uncontrollably like they others.
"Experimental potions!" She shrieked with laughter, then rejoined the others. Harry just shook his head and left. Leaving them to party.

Lol, I know, I'm really weird. =]

lol, ma mood is scary. I kill you!!! *Clears throat* Anyway, stuff to get through, as usual, so i might as well plough through it...

Can't relax and be lazy before my trip bcuz i has to go out and buy stuff to bring wit ma. My ankle is still healing, people! Walking around on it and moving it outta place won't help the whole 'torn ligaments' thing! Feelin like huffing now. It might prolong my time at home.

I was really afraid of getting sick before my trip and now, a few days before i leave, i tear ligaments in my ankle that won't heal properly for ages and i get a really runny nose this morning and i'm sneezing a lot. I'm praying that it's just a one off little sneezing fit or hay fever.

Weather is much worse than normal N. Ireland weather, which is ALWAYS crap. I hope it wont be like this when we go to Morecambe cuz i don't want my asthma to ruin this rather expensive holiday.

Debating with myself weather i should bring my iPod with me. On one hand, i sometimes can't live without it, but on the other hand, i couldn't bare to lose it and i'd have to use £100 of my birthday money to replace it.

God really must not want me to go but to hell with it, i'm going to Morecambe if it kills me. Or maybe i'll just lose a limb and get lucky XD

Gawd bless the man [or woman!] who invented the support sock! XD such relief!
The pain is still there, obviously, but it's a lot easier for me to get around because the bandage holds my ankle in place while it's healing. And this time the god damn thing better do it right! *Texas chainsaw massacre*
England is creeping up and i'll have to miss guides again on Monday so i can get some rest before i leave at 5:30am. Wow, it seems AGES since I've been to guides XD. My attendance sheet must be horrific, Sara and Lauren must be wondering where the hell their troop has gone. Still, Shirley, our guide unit's main leader, will understand. Besides, my sis can explain to her where we've disappeared to.
In my jammies [pyjamas] cuz they make me feel cosy and happy. It's a bit dark though, i'd better switch the light on beside me. Damn, it don't work. >:0 damn.
Saw Smity's [Tom S] lil dance to Flo Rida - Low. Hilarious stuff, people! Should have videoed it, soz.
Dad just dropped a frozen burger and it made a sort of noise a frisby would when it lands on a stone floor. XD Frisby burger, lol. I tinks we is havin a hot dog for dinner so i dunno why said burger emerged in the first place. Evil schemes, maybe??
Uh, that's it for today, i tinks. And i made it all the way through the rainbow! XD unexpected bonus! I suppose you noticed that Flo and I are taking turns to write the journals cuz it's so much easier.
